Google Docs gives teachers and students the opportunity to create, work, and collaborate like few other tools.  Accessible from any computer with an internet connection, Docs provides users with highly functional and easy to use word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and forms. Each document can be edited simultaneously by multiple users, can be shared or published on the web, and has a complete revision history of every change ever made. Learn how this one tool can revolutionize the way educators work with students and colleagues.

Once you've gotten started with Google Docs, managing your documents it is essential.  Learn strategies for organizing your docs, creating collections, importing (and exporting) files, and sharing your creations. Teachers' tips for naming and searching your documents will also be shared, as will techniques for helping students manage their docs as well.

Not only does Google Docs offer a comprehensive spreadsheet, it includes a revolutionary tool to collect data.  Google Forms makes it a snap to collect information via an online form, and feeds the data directly into your spreadsheet, complete with automatic visual summaries of the data in graphic form. Forms are great for formative assessments - and (with a few advanced tips) you can even create a self grading online quiz!
