A new division, EdTechTeam Programs, was launched in 2017 to manage EdTechTeam’s role in the Dynamic Learning Project in partnership with Digital Promise and Google. The Dynamic Learning Project (DLP) seeks to improve educational equity and student learning by supporting teachers with classroom coaching to better leverage technology in powerful and meaningful ways. Working with 50 underserved schools in five regions across the U.S., the DLP engages full-time coaches to provide personalized support for helping educators use technology in transformative ways. Each school receives mentoring and ongoing professional development and participates in a community of practice. EdTechTeam Programs also oversees other new partnerships, including work with TED-Ed, ISTE, and additional “white labeled” programs that launched in 2017 and that we hope to be able to share more about in 2018. 🙂
“As I told my principal, I have seen more impact and growth in a single semester by using the structure provided by DLP, than I have in any full year throughout my coaching career. I feel that DLP provided a much-needed reboot of tech coaching at my school, and cannot wait to see what great things my students create and learn as a result of our participation.”
