This full-day workshop allows participants the opportunity to explore the use of G Suite and other technologies to enhance the educational experience of all their students. We look at how technology can support students through tools that are essential to some but good for all. We also look at different strategies that can be applied to better support your students from an accessibility aspect to functional output. K-2, 3-6, 6-12, and Related Services Workshops available.

Supporting English Language Learners in Remote Learning
Needs and learning styles differ from student to student. Google Workspace for Education allows for differentiated instruction as well as accessibility features to help all students learn. In this session, you will explore some of the CORE Google Workspace apps like Docs, Slides and Classroom and learn ways that you and your students can use these tools to support learning especially for English Language Learners. We’ll also explore a variety of other tools and strategies for supporting English Language learners in synchronous and asynchronous activities.
Experiential Teaching through Technology – Construction
Using Project-Based Learning to produce authentic experience in CTE education. Learn how students can build skateboards, guitars, robotics, and 3D print to learn the construction process.
Secondary: Impactful Technology Model Lesson
In this session, you will get first-hand experience with a distance learning lesson from an expert teacher. You will experience distance learning as a student and then be able to dissect each aspect of the lesson to learn about best practices for distance learning.
Impactful Assessment for Learning
Assessments are not just about grades; it’s about learning. In this session, we’ll dig into some different ways you can do formative assessment with tools like Forms, Flipgrid and Peardeck. We’ll highlight several creative and traditional ways to formatively assess students and get hands-on with a couple of options you can use tomorrow.
