This full-day ELL session provides instruction, modeling, and workshopping time with the following topics: reading, writing, speaking and listening. ELL teachers leave the day with the confidence to use these tools and strategies in the classroom and lesson templates to use in their classrooms immediately. Additionally, assistive technology techniques are demonstrated to encourage further differentiation techniques in the classroom.

Supporting English Language Learners in Remote Learning
Needs and learning styles differ from student to student. Google Workspace for Education allows for differentiated instruction as well as accessibility features to help all students learn. In this session, you will explore some of the CORE Google Workspace apps like Docs, Slides and Classroom and learn ways that you and your students can use these tools to support learning especially for English Language Learners. We’ll also explore a variety of other tools and strategies for supporting English Language learners in synchronous and asynchronous activities.
