Education is the only career in which most people have 12+ years of “work experience” as they progressed through their own education. After spending 28 years in education, Kimberley has realised that she is learning something new about the learning every single day. In this keynote we will explore the key lessons learnt from a lifetime in education and the realisation we are all Always Learning (and that’s actually an awesome thing!)
Kimberley Hall holds a Bachelor of Education, specialising in English and Social Studies with a background in linguistics. She has teaching and leadership experience across Primary, Secondary, Higher Ed, as well as teaching students with additional needs.
She worked as an eLearning and Learning and Teaching Advisor for several years and loves how her current position with EdTechTeam enables her to connect and learn with educators around the world.
Kimberley was the first female in Australia to be both a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Certified Trainer and was awarded the Department of Education’s ‘Most Outstanding Graduate Teacher’ early in her career. She designs featured workshops and keynote presentations for conferences around the globe, specialising in assisting leaders and educators to make the most of technology for efficiencies and transformation of practice.
Kimberley misses teaching kids in classrooms almost daily but is lucky to have lots of little people in her life with whom she can test out all her crazy ideas!
